The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) is a regional, membership-based non-governmental organization (NGO). FEMNET continues to mobilize and provide leadership for African women to monitor, follow up and advocate for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development (SDGs).  To have an impact and achieve its objectives, FEMNET required an effective communication strategy.

This is where EKAR came into play. We love more than providing our services, to be part of initiatives that bring positive change the society.

EKAR understands that such an initiative requires proper engagement of its stakeholders for it to succeed. We therefore ensured effective consultation and involvement in both the definition and delivery of FEMNET’s goals. We helped build better relationships with the societies in which they operate. The ultimate result was improved business planning and performance.

We also incorporated media relations, digital and social media to communicate FEMNET’s objectives and vision. We were able to reach a viable audience.
