In January 2016, Mondo ride was new in the African market. They required expertise that could enable them penetrate the Kenyan market. By then, UBER and Easy Taxi were already taking the transport mobile application platform by storm.
How?
What MONDO needed was the right strategy to beat its competition. EKAR designed creative media campaigns like “Get Mondo Get going” and initiated partnerships through promotions and targeted activations while incorporating the media as well.
EKAR was also in charge of the company for the first four months of its rollout in Kenya.
Mondo amassed over five (5) thousand initial downloads in Kenya.
